From Engineering to Photography

It all started with a friend from engineering school. Fueled by a shared passion for cycling and a budding interest in photography (a year in at that point), I took the plunge and became their cycling team's photographer for the summer. The roar of the crowd, the blur of movement – it was an exhilarating crash course in capturing energy and action.

Sports photography kept me busy for a year, but a deeper truth emerged. While the adrenaline-pumping shots were thrilling, it was the connection with people that truly drew me in. Beyond the action, I found myself captivated by the power of a well-crafted portrait. It wasn't just about capturing a likeness; it was about creating art with people.

This desire to create art led me to pivot my focus towards portraiture. It's a path that allows me to celebrate the human experience in all its beautiful complexities. I foster a space where people feel comfortable shedding inhibitions and revealing their authentic selves.
